Cold coffee with ice cream

Delicious cold coffee very easily prepared at home

Ingredients :

Milk - 2 Cups
Sugar - 3 tsp
Instant Coffee Powder - 2 tsp
Ice cube - 4 no
Vanilla Ice Cream - 2 scoop

Preparation :
  • Take a cup of raw milk, boil it first and keep it aside.
  • Take little bit of hot water and mix coffee powder with it. Keep it separately.
  • Now take a blender pour the milk, add ice cubes and add sugar blend it well. Then add coffee powder mixture with it, Blend it once again.
  • Finally add the ice cream and blend it little. 
  • Now pour it in a cup and you can have immediately or keep in freezer for more cooling.
Serving :

Pour the cold coffee in a glass/cup and one scoop of vanilla ice cream in it. For decoration, Just sprinkle coffee or coco powder over the vanilla ice cream.

Cold coffee is ready to serve.
          

Raw banana fry / Valakkai fry

Cooking : Raw banana fry / Valakkai fry

Ingredients :
  • Raw banana - 1 no
  • Chilli Powder - 1tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1tsp
  • Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil             
Preparation :
       Wash and remove the outer skin from the raw banana and cut it in the round thick(3mm approx.) pieces.
       Take a bowl and add chill powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, salt ,raw banana pieces and sprinkle little water on it and mix well.
       Keep it aside for 1 hour.
       Use Pan or Kadai, Heat oil and put the marinated raw banana pieces and fry it well until becomes golden brown color.
       Super raw banana fry is ready to eat now. You can have this with rice as side dish and good to have as evening snack with coffee/tea.

 

Mor Kulambu / Butter milk curry

Ingredients:

Curd - 2 cups
Sambar powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Kadalai maavu / Besam flour - 1tsp
Green Chilli or Red Chilli -1 no (finely chopped)
Oil - 2 tsp
Fenugreek seeds/ Vendhayam - 1/4 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Omam / Carom seeds- 1 tsp
Hing / asafoetida / perungayam powder - a pinch
Curry Leaves - few
Coriander leaves for garnishing

Preparation :

      Take a bowl, Now add curd , sambar powder , Kadalai maavu, Turmeric Powder , salt and mix it well without any lumps.
      Heat oil in Kadai add mustard seed, when the seeds start spluttering, add fenugreek seed, omam ,green or red chilli, hing and curry leaves. Saute it for 2 min in low flame. Add curd to the above made recipe and add salt if needed. Boil for 3 min in low flame then turn off the flame. Garnish with Coriander leaves.


      More kulambu is ready to serve.
